About Us
The Conforti Institute is an initiative of the Xaverian Missionaries.
The Institute is named for Guido Maria Conforti, founder of the Xaverian Missionaries in 1895.
Present in Coatbridge since 1958, the Xaverians are an international missionary congregation working in over twenty countries in four continents.
We are dedicated to promoting cooperation and reconciliation among all peoples, regardless of race, gender, culture or creed, particularly the poor, disadvantaged and powerless of the world. We are committed to our Founder’s dream to make the world a single family. From earliest beginnings we have been involved in Global Education.
The Institute’s Education Team, are highly qualified and widely experienced in the field of education, development and community organisation, will tailored programmes to respond to specific needs and requests.
The Institute offers an attractive, functional, purpose-built residential and conference facility for the use of school, community, church and commercial groups.
